PUDSEY, ERNEST W. - The death of Ernest W. Pudsey, 99 years of age, of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of St. Martins, New Brunswick, husband of the late Edna (Fraser) Pudsey, occurred April 16, 2005 at Pensacola, Florida. He was born on December 4, 1905 at Roxbury, Massachusetts, son of the late William and Grace (McIntyre) Pudsey. He was a resident of Dorchester, Massachusetts until 1972 when he moved to St. Martins. He moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1999. He was a member of St. Martins United Baptist Church and St. Martins Lodge #30, F. & A.M. He is survived by three sons, Eugene (Lillian) of New Hampshire, William (Lillian) of Pensacola, Florida, Richard (Susan) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one sister, Grace Ceven of Plainville, Mass., one brother, Eugene of San Diego, California; 26 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandson. He also has many nieces and nephews. His first wife, Muriel (Forsyth) Pudsey, daughters Dorothy Cockerline and Barbara Carmody, and one granddaughter, Muriel (Cockerline) Foster preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2005 at St. Martins United Baptist Church with service at 2:00 pm to be followed by a private graveside service for the family.
