GIDDENS, JOHN - Peacefully at Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, May 4, 2005, John Giddens, age 80, of Tower Hill, NB. Son of the late Thomas H. and Mabel (Maguire) Giddens. Survived by his loving wife, Marguerite (Cameron) (Mitchell), sons, Donald (Judy) Mitchell of St. Stephen, NB, Blair (Lise) Mitchell, Fort MacMurray, Alberta, beloved grandchildren, Kyle, Tanis, David, Joshua and Lindsay, one sister, Helen Scullin, RollingDam, NB, one brother, Vincent (June) Giddens, Leverville, NB, sisters-in-law, Bernice and Marie Giddens, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Geraldine Wilson and Dorothy Sweeney, brothers, James and Herbert Giddens. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Union Street, St. Stephen, NB on Saturday May 7, 2005 at 1 PM with Rev. Paul Riley officiating, assisted by Rev. Peter Atkinson. Interment at Moores Mills Rural Cemetery, Moores Mills, NB. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Friday May 6, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Extra Mural, Cancer Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
