COCHRANE, P. JEAN- The death of P. Jean (Avines) Cochrane, formerly of Glenwood, NB, wife of the late George Cochrane, occurred on Friday, May 6, 2005 at Kennebec Manor Inc. Born in Clover Hill, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Violet (Coley) Avines. Jean and her husband owned and operated Island View Lunch for many years. She is survived by two sons: Gerald (Ann Arsenault) Cochrane of Public Landing, Stewart (Anne) Cochrane of Browns Flat; one daughter Phyllis Cochrane of Glenwood, NB; six grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one brother Ronald Avines and one sister Betty Wambolt. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7425) with visiting on Monday, May 9, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 from Bay View Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Wesley United Cemetery, Browns Flat.
