ANDERSON, GEORGE RONALD - George Ronald Anderson of Debec passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital on May 6 at the age of 89. Born on May 1, 1916 he was the son of the late George and Emily (Meadows) Anderson. George is survived by his wife Mavis (Henderson) Anderson, Debec; ten children: Charlene (Allen) Bustard, Debec, Lynwood (Marie) Anderson, Fort Frances Ont, Anne Anderson, Nackawic, Merlin (Joan) Anderson, Debec, Eugene (Judith) Anderson, Upper Woodstock, Conrad (Sharon) Anderson, Woodstock, Emily (Karl) Lindsay, London, Ont., Celia (Robert) Boose, Amcaster, Ont., Susan (Peter) Bulger, Foxley River, P.E.I., George (Tammy) Anderson, Debec, 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and one sister Alice Knight, Connecticut. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9 at the Trinity United Church Debec from 2-4, 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 9 at 2 pm from the Trinity United Church Debec with Rev. Bev Brazier officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mackenzie Corner Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Mackenzie Corner Cemetery Fund.
