CRAIG, CHESTER - The death of Chester Craig, loving husband of Elizabeth (Bertie) (Melvin) occurred peacefully on Tuesday May 10, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1915 in St. Andrew's, NB he was the son of the late Owen and Bessie (Hickey) Craig. Chester was a member of Marine Workers Local 3. Besides his loving wife Elizabeth he is survived by sons Ralph (Carol) of Moncton, David (Carol) and Grant (Esther) both of Saint John; daughters Eleanor Willis (Calvin), Beverly Martin (Joey) and Susan Hector all of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Samuel and Gordon; sisters Rhoda, Hilda and Ida; and son-in-law Larry Hector. By request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Friday May 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Rockwood Park Information Centre.
