HATFIELD, EDITH H. - 85, of Fraserville, Cumberland County passed away Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born June 15, 1919 at Allen Hill, she was the daughter of the late Amasa and Effie (Dow) Allen. She was a member of the Advocate Baptist Church. She is survived by daughters, Carol Freeman (William), Lower Sackville; Millie Johnston (Brian), Truro; sons, Stuart (Marie), Fraserville; Aurdon (Maureen), Sackville, N.B.; Rev. Maurice (Vi), Deer Island, N.B.; sisters, Alene Yorke, Parrsboro and Ellershouse; Ethel Slocum, Apple River; Shirley Collins (Lorway), Amherst; a brother, Arlie, Lake Echo; grandchildren, Faith Desharnais (Justin), St. Pierre, Manitoba; Leslie James Hatfield, Amherst; Timothy Freeman (Kathleen), Stephenfield, Manitoba; Samuel Freeman (Michelle), Steinbach, Manitoba; Jordan Hatfield, Deer Island; nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro and 7-9 p.m. Saturday evening at Advocate Baptist Church. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday at the Advocate Baptist Church, Rev. Donald Hirtle officiating. Burial in the Advocate Cemetery.
