FOWLER, DONALD BARNES - The death of Donald Barnes Fowler of Upham, husband of Barbara (Kilpatrick) (MacRae) Fowler occurred May 28, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Upham, son of the late Job and Jenny (Barnes) Fowler. Don was self employed in construction for a number of years and worked for the Department of Transportation for thirteen years retiring in 1989. He was a member of The Corinthian Lodge #13, F & AM and a member of the Luxor Temple. Surviving besides his wife Barbara are one daughter Geraldine Fowler of Edmonton; two sons Bruce (Brenda) of Smithtown, Marshall (Bernadette) of Smithtown; one step-daughter Brenda Freeze (Allen) of London, ON; one sister Marguerite Allaby of Hanford Brook; two brothers twin Delbert (Shirley) of Salisbury, James (Dorothy) of Upham; several grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Patricia (Bell) Fowler. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 2:00 pm, at St. Peter's Church, Upham, with Rev. Philip Pain officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Smithtown. Memorials to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Monday. A Masonic tribute will be held Monday, 6:45pm at the funeral home.
