LAWSON, WILLIAM L. - Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, June 6th, 2005. Born in Minto, NB, Bill was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Kearney) Lawson. Survived by sons, Danny and Peter Lawson; granddaughter, Emily Lawson; former wife and friend Linda Lawson; four sisters, Barbara and her husband Dr. J. E. MacKay, Peggy and her husband J. W. Bird both of Fredericton, NB, Frances Hall of London, ON and Elizabeth (Betty) Whyte of Calgary, AB, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his sister, Ann Marie and her husband Jack O'Rourke and his sister Charlotte and her husband Charles Saunders. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 10 King Street, Minto (327-3490) where visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7-9pm and from where funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 10th, 2005 in the Parker Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eileen Irish officiating. Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, the family has suggested remembrances to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation or to a charity of ones choice.
