Edward T. Darragh BRITISH?WEST?INDIES – Edward T. Darragh, 75, of Turk &?Caicos Islands, British West Indies and formerly of Alberta and Linden, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at his residence in The Turk &?CaicosIslands. Born in Linden, he was a son of the late Theodore and Edna (Furlong) Darragh. Prior to his retirement, he was the superintendent of the Sewer and Water Supply at The Banff National Park. Following his retirement, he operated his own Animal Boarding Kennels. Surviving is his wife, the former Coleen Mattson, sons Gregory (Shannon) Darragh of Kelowna, B.C., and Terry (Sunny) Darragh of Banff,?Alberta, also a grandson Theodore J. Darragh of Banff, Alberta. Also surviving are sisters Dolly Black of Saltsprings, Pictou County, N.S., and Blanche Seaman of Lake Killarney, Cumberland County, N.S.; and a brother Pat (Sheila)?Darragh of Linden, also Jim Dixon of Linden, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by sisters Ethel Dixon and Margaret Rushton, sister Elsie A. Darragh in infancy, and brothers Andrew Darragh and James Darragh. Cremation has taken place in the British West Indies. A memorial service will be held on June 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Renwick United Church in Linden, with Rev. Steve Longmoore officiating. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
