SMITH, DORIS L. - The death of Doris Lillian Smith of Kennebec Manor, Saint John, wife of the late Royden Keith Smith, occurred on Monday, June 13, 2005 at her residence. Born in Yarmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alma (Doane) Cann. She is survived by one son, Eric Smith (Virginia) of Grand Bay-Westfield, one daughter, Hilda Duplisea (Albert) of Saint John, one brother, George Malcolm Cann (Rose), one sister, Joyce Everest (Bert), both of Yarmouth, NS, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Chesley James Cann. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Magazine Street, Saint John, on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place at Arcadia Cemetery, Yarmouth, NS. Remembrances to the Watchtower Society or a charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
