Elsie Alena Farrell SPRINGHILL - Elsie Alena Farrell, aged 95 years of High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2007 in High Crest. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the Late Leslie and Alice (Sterling) Rushton and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, Springhill. She enjoyed playing bingo, collecting stuffed animals and especially her home and being with family. She is survived by sons, Gary (Shirley) of Amherst, Douglas, Robert (Carol), Larry (Valerie), Richard and John all of Springhill; daughters, Betty Hibberts of Amherst, Dorothy (Gordon) Hann of Oromocto, N. B., Brenda Jutras of Ontario, Doris Sears and Deborah (Marven) Powell all of Springhill; twenty grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George Albert Farrell; son Herbert; granddaughters, Crystal Ann and Laura Lee; brother, Herbert; sisters, Patricia, Stella and Dolly. Visitations will be held 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 today in A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, from All Saints Anglican Church, Springhill, with The Reverend Brieanna Andrews officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. If so desired, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
