CAMERON, LAURA M. - 1909-2005. Laura Cameron, 95, wife of the late James H. Cameron of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, July 7th, 2005. Born in Sussex, NB on September 18th, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mabel (Hazen) Price. A long time member of St. John's United Church, Laura was active in the UCW, and taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, receiving visitors and spending time with her beloved cat Babe. She will be missed by her nieces; Miriam Robinson, Joene Moreau (Bob) all of Newcastle, ON., nephew Malcolm Price (Angela) of Sydney, NS. She will be fondly remembered by her best friend Mary Brown of Moncton, Katherine Cameron of Truro, Sheila Cameron (Keith Godfrey) and their children; Laura & Taylor of Moncton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband James in 1996, sisters; Mildred Price and Edna Moore, a brother Leonard Price, and a niece Roselyn (Price) Tighe. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visitation on Sunday July 10th from 1:00 to 2:00PM. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Aaron Billard will be held in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday July 10th. A reception following the service will be held in the Garden View Reception room of the funeral home.
