BEERS, RITA MARIE - Rita Marie Beers of Minto, NB, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 14, 2005 at the age of 85, as a member of the Trinity United Church of Canada, she was dedicated to the church as she worked endless hours on various committees and was a committed member of the U.C.W. She had varied interests such as travelling, bowling, cards, reading but above all loved and enjoyed her family and friends immensely. Her sense of warmth, wit and humor will be missed by all! Rita is survived by eight children, four sons; Donald (Janice) of Fredericton Junction. Roderick Sr. (Marguerite) of Minto. John (Heather) of Upper Salmon Creek. Richard (Charlene) of Minto. Four daughters: Patricia Lockyer of Minto. Annie Corey (Ken) of Moncton. Brenda Beers (Len Priest) of Airdrie, Alberta. Marilyn Hoyt of Minto. Rita is also survived by 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as one sister, Aurore Cormier of Minto, a sister-in-law Prudence Boone of Edmonton, AB. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Donald Beers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Minto Trinity United Church of Canada. Heartfelt thanks to the care given by Dr. Gordon Haynes of Minto and the doctors, nurses and staff of DECH 4th floor SW. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 17th, 2005 from the Trinity United Church with Rev. Nancy Ritchie officiating. Interment will take place in the Wallbridge Cemetery.
