HARDY, MILLIE MARGUERITE - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millie Hardy, at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB on July 6, 2005. Millie was born in Mill River, PEI, daughter of the late Elijah and Nellie (Irving) Gard. Wife of the late Ralph Hardy. Millie moved to Rothesay, NB in 2000 to live with her son Herb and Alice. She loved to play cards; knit and loved candy. She will be sadly missed by sons George, Cassidy Lake, NB, Herbert (Alice) Rothesay, NB, Winston, Summerside, PEI, Robert, Brampton, Ont.; daughters Edythe (Wyman) MacArthur, Summerside, PEI, Irene Kats, Waterdown, Ont; one sister Edythe Campbell, Alberton, PEI; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Wendell (2001), grandson, Barry Lynn Hardy (1973), brothers Ralph and Jim Gard, and sister Frances Bowness. Burial has taken place in the Bloomfield United Cemetery, Bloomfield, PEI.
