JOHNSTON, LEWIS CLAIR - 1944-2005 - The death of Lewis Clair Johnston of Woodstock, NB occurred on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born in Newburg, NB on September 7, 1944 to the late Edgar and Sadie (Frame) Johnston. Lewis is survived by brothers Don (Betty), Trenton, Ont, Ray (Mary), Porters Lake, NS, Gerald (Dianne) McKenna, NB, Leo Newburg, NB, Richard (Gail), Whitby, Ont, and several nieces and nephews. Lewis was predeceased by brother Eugene. Lewis trucked and worked for North American Van Lines in Oshawa until his retirement. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl O'Donnell officiating. Burial to follow in the Pembroke Cemetery.
