CAMERON, LOUIS - The death of Louis Cameron, of Saint John, husband of the late Dorothy (Jones) Cameron, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday July 20, 2005. Born in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late Samuel and Helen (Grass) Cameron. He owned and operated Lou Cameron's TV Repair Shop for many years before his retirement. Louis was a member of the Musicians Union and played with the Western Express; he also played bass guitar with Big John Little and Ned Landry. He was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church Choir, a member of the Black Watch Pipe Band and a forty-nine year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69. Louis won the Championship for Speed Skating in New England. Survived by three sons: Stephen Cameron of Ontario, Samuel and Donald Cameron, both of Saint John, one daughter, Deborah Ferris of Ontario, two sisters: Jean Dean and Mary Dalling (Ron Stewart), both of Saint John; ten grandchildren: Stephanie, Michael, Shawn, Melanie, Devon, Steven and Jacqueline Cameron, Jason, James and Crissy Ferris, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother; Murray "Cheezie" Cameron. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 2:15 pm. Interment to take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
