REV. ROBERT GRIMMER GRIMMER

GRIMMER, REV. ROBERT GRIMMER - The death of Rev. Robert Edward Grimmer, pastor of the First Revival Pentecostal Church, Belledune NB, occurred on Friday July 22, 2005. Born in St. Stephen NB. He was the son of the late Henry and Francis (Snowdon) Grimmer. He was a very caring and loving husband and father. Robert is the scripture which will help me through this sorrow of you going home to be with the Lord. Where you have gone I will be there also. Isaiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon Lord, shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Marina (McCoy) Grimmer; two sons Troy (Priscilla) Grimmer of Durham Bridge, NB and Dwayne (Gail) Grimmer of Bathurst, NB; four daughters Dixie (James) Bishop of Keswick, NB, Wendy (Keith) Hanson of Fredericton, NB, Cheyanne Grimmer (Jon Dionne) of Fredericton, NB and Tralawney (Jack) Guiggey of Fredericton, NB; two brothers Donald (Gail) Grimmer of Saint John, NB and Barry (Cindy) Grimmer of Hampton, NB; three sisters Shirley (Raymond) Arbeau of Saint John, NB, Rose Mary (Jack) Folkins of Saint John, NB and Georgina (Wally) Robinson of Nova Scotia; ten grandchildren David, Nicole, Mitchell, Mark, Charlena, Trevor, Mathew, Kaleb, Shayla and Jillian; one great grandson David Dunphy; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandson Travis Grimmer. Visitation will be from York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton, NB Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2pm from First United Pentecostal Church, Marysville, NB with Rev. Raymond Woodward officiating and Rev. Henry Potrais assisting. Burial will follow in the Dayton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Trail, Paul Ingraham, Phillip Thomas, Wesley Bustard, Stephen Estey and Ronald McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Dionne and Jack Guiggey. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or First Revival Pentecostal Church, Belledune would be appreciated by the family.
