KIERSTEAD, VIOLET MADELINE - 78, of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 23, 2005 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Vi was a daughter of the late Robert & Florence Wilson. We will miss her gentle sunny smile that always greeted us from the kitchen and the carport. Vi was a member of the Stevens Road Baptist Church, Dartmouth. Surviving are her husband Bill of 52 years; son, David (Helen) of Toronto. Vi was predeceased by a daughter Elaine in infancy; twin sister, Edith Prosser. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2005 & Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2005 all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Rev. John Porter officiating along with Rev. Joanna Doak. Interment will follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the burial in Atlantic Funeral Home reception centre.
