PATRIQUEN, MELVIN W. (MEL) - Husband of Ann (Callaghan) Patriquen, passed away peacefully at home in Quispamsis on July 26, 2005. During the course of his career Mel worked with Domtar, Irving Refinery and Labatt's Brewery, where he retired while Plant Manager. Pre-deceased by parents Walter and Jean (Humphrey) Patriquen and brothers Murray and Lawrence. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is as well survived by son Michael (Melanie) Patriquen; daughters Mary Jane Patriquen Shelley (Mike) and Kelly Patriquen. Also survived by six grandchildren, Michael, Catie, Melana, Casey, Karly and Shannon and one great-granddaughter, Faith, as well as sisters-in law, brothers-in law and several nieces and nephews. Mel is remembered as a loving man whose family meant everything to him and for his "master craftsmanship". Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119 with visiting being held Thursday, July 28th, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service arrangements are incomplete at this time.
