Evelyn Beatrice Fortune Evelyn Beatrice Fortune - Evelyn Beatrice aged 90 years of Centennial Villa, Amherst and formerly of Springhill, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in CRHCC, Nappan. Born in Pugwash, she was a daughter of the Late Earl and Mary (Seaman) Dingle and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was an adherent to St. Andrews Wesley United Church, Springhill. She is survived by nieces, Evelyn, Beverly, Heather, Jo Anne and Carolyn; nephews, Wayne D., Wayne A., and Billy; several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Fortune Jr.; brother, Frank; sisters, Mildred, Doris, Betty, Jean, Dorothy and an infant sister Elsie; niece, Shirley; nephew, Frank. Visitation held 1 - 3 pm today Tuesday, January 13, 2009 followed immediately at 3:00 pm by the Funeral Service with The Reverend David Lloyd-Pearce officiating, both held in A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date. If so desired, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
