GINETTE GODBOUT
GODBOUT, GINETTE - At her residence, August 21, 2005, Mrs. Ginette Godbout of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 53 years. She was the wife of Gilles J. Godbout. Born at Bouctouche in 1951, she was a daughter of Rita (Arsenault) and the late Gerard Maillet. Ginette was a school teacher and was the founder of the first kindergarten class of Grand Falls. She was a member of the board of directors of the "Foyer Oasis" and a member and former president of the home and school association of the Polyvalente Thomas-Albert. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Andrée Godbout (Erik Lang) of Fredericton and Martine Godbout (friend Marc LeBlanc) of Moncton, her mother, Mrs. Rita Richard, resident of Foyer Notre-Dame of Moncton, sisters and brothers, Bernice Daigle (late Guy) of Fredericton, Carmen Richard (Normand) of Westford, Massachusetts, Marielle Bouchard (Normand), Aline Arseneault (Donald) and Guy Maillet (Bernice) of Moncton, Laurie Maillet of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and Cecile Scott (Richard) of Sugarloaf, Maine, sister-in-law, Claudette Maillet (late Omer) of Moncton, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Omer Maillet. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, August 24th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment to take place in the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent cemetery.
