LORDON, KATHERINE O. - The death of Katherine (Foster) Lordon, wife of Donald C. Lordon, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2005. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Smith) Foster. Katherine was formerly employed with the Saint John Regional Hospital as a Ward Clerk for family medicine on 4BN for many years. She was also involved with the Cathedral Parish as a Eucharistic Minister and taught Catechism at St. Joachim's Parish. Besides her husband, Katherine is survived by her son, Dr. Anthony Lordon (Sue) of Quispamsis, NB; daughter, Ann Burnett (David) of Saint John; brother, George Foster (Bernice) of Saint John; two sisters: Nancy O'Neill (Vern) of Oakville ON, and Carol Matheson (David) of Markham ON; five grandchildren: Katie, Leah and Benjamin Lordon, Stephanie and Michael Burnett; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visiting will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John, at 12:00 noon.
