WOODLAND, RAYMOND DOUGLAS - The death of Raymond Douglas Woodland loving husband of Joan (McGivern) Woodland, of Cambridge Narrows, occurred peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday September 23, 2005 at his residence. Born 1934 in Saint John he was the son of the late Archabald and Elizabeth (Baret) Woodland. Raymond worked for T.S. Simms and the Saint John Dry Dock. He also served in the Army for 21 years. Besides his loving wife Joan, he is survived by his daughters Debra Gregory (Donald) of Stroud, Ontario, Dawn Lemoine (Al) of Saint John and Lori Bordage (Gilles) of Shediac; brother Harold Woodland (Esther) of Miscou; sister Lillian Sterling (Fred) of Saint John; four grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Cecil Woodland. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday September 26, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. By request there will be no funeral service.
