Grant Stanley Hurley AMHERST - Grant Stanley Hurley age 63, of Amherst passed away suddenly on Monday, March 24, 2008, at home. Born in Maccan, he was a son of the late Ronald Grant and Avis Isabelle (Stanley) Hurley. Grant worked for Baughan Trucking for about 20 years and later for Eisner's Trucking and Kreative Trucking. Grant is survived by his wife the former Robin Dixon, one daughter Jean Louise Hurley of Amherst, one son Grant James (Tracy) Hurley of Amherst, two grandchildren Maddy and Haley, brothers Robert and Stuart Hurley and sisters Dianne Warren and Wendy Miller and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Charles (Chuck) William Hurley. Cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. Donations in Grant's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. www.campbells-amherst.ca
