NEWMAN, EVA MARY - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Eva Newman passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, October 7, 2005. Born in Acaidieville, NB., she was the daughter of the late Albenie and Mary (LeBlanc) Caissie and wife of the late Albert Newman. She was a member of St. John the Baptist - St. Clement Church (Mission Church) as well as, a member of St. Monica's Ladies Guild at the church. Eva was a kind-hearted and compassionate lady with a loving personality who will be fondly remembered by her family and very dear friends. She is survived by her only son Brian and wife Wendy of St. Catharine's, ON and their daughter Casey; as well as, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Albert, Eva was predeceased by her infant son, James Abbott, and infant daughter, Donna Marie, brothers Frank and Anthony and sister Evangeline Stephens. By Eva's request there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Baptist - St. Clement Church (Mission Church) on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 10 o'clock. A reception will follow in the Church Hall hosted by the ladies Guild followed by interment in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
