STOCKFORD, GORDON L. - Gordon L. Stockford of Lansdowne, NB passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock on Sunday, October 9, 2005. He was born February 22, 1911, the eldest son of the late Leslie and Thursa (Rideout) Stockford of Lansdowne, NB. He was predeceased by his three wives, Myra, Edna and Grace; and three brothers, Weslie, Milton and Curtis; and one sister, Mrs. Ralph Campbell (Edith). Gordon is survived by two nieces, Doreen Stockford-Owen-Jones, Delta, BC; Shirley Stockford-Bruce, Abbotsford, BC; and one nephew, Larry Stockford, New Westminister, BC; as well as stepchildren and several cousins. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, NB with visitation on Tuesday, October 11th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 1:00 p.m. from The Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Cook officiating. Interment will be in he Bannon Cemetery, Bannon, NB.
