SAVOIE, THERENCE ALBERT - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, October 9, 2005, Therence A. Savoie, husband of Dawn (McSorley) Savoie, passed away. Born in Pokemouche, NB., he was the son of the late Domitien and Georgina (Savoy) Savoie. He was a carpenter by trade, retiring in 1994. In his later years, he loved to craft, dedicating his time to many wood working projects. In addition to his wife Dawn, Therence is survived by daughter Annette Savoie, Niagara Falls, ON., son Paul (Lori) Savoie and grandchildren Bryan Therence and Julia Grace Dawn, all of Calgary, AB., brothers Aristide (Lorraine), Tracadie, NB., Jean Berchmans (Geraldine), Caraquet, NB., and Reginald (Janice), Saint John, NB., sisters Teri Romenco, Waterloo, ON., and Dolores Savoy, Bathurst, NB. Therence was predeceased by his brother Pierre Celestin and his sisters Delcina and Carmelle. By his request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB., (634-1701) on Thursday, October 13, 2005 between the hours of 9:30 am and 11:30 am. A private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the children's wish foundation would be appreciated by the family.
