STEWART, HALSEY - On Monday, October 17, 2005, Halsey Stewart, loving husband of Florence (Hanson) Stewart passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Whites Cove, NB, he was the son of the late Beverly and Verna Stewart. Halsey drove taxi in Saint John for many years with Al's Taxi and ABC Taxi, and also worked for MIT Sales. Besides his wife, Halsey is survived by his daughter Nancy and her husband Peter; one grandson: Peter Michael; two sisters: Lillian McDermott (Frank), Shirley Kingston (Bob); one brother: Stanley Stewart (Mary); several nieces and nephews, all of Saint John. Halsey is predeceased by his sister Orla Stewart and by his granddaughter Katelyn Conway. Resting at Castle Funeral Home Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Fallsview Chapel on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 10 o'clock. Interment Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In memory of Halsey, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
