STANLEY, DORIS MAE - The death of Doris Mae Stanley, age 83, wife of the late Gordon Stanley, of Midland, occurred at Great Oaks Special Care Home, McDonald's Point, October 27, 2005. Doris was the daughter of the late Albert and Neta (Walker) Edgar. Doris is survived by sons, Bill, Jim and Barb, all of Midland; daughters, Carol and Ray Thorne, Moncton, and Chris and Gary Nelson, Grand Bay; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sister-in-law Muriel Mealey; brother-in-law Curtis Stanley; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB (839-2156) with visiting, Saturday, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 31, 2005, from Kiersteadville United Baptist Church, 1160 Route 850. Following cremation, interment will be in Kiersteadville Cemetery. A special thanks to Dorothy MacDonald, and all the staff, at Great Oaks Special Care Home for their wonderful care of Doris during the past five months.
