RICHARD, AUGUSTE (1924-2005) - At the age of 81, Auguste Richard of St. Louis de Kent, NB, passed away peacefully, after a sudden illness, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 30, 2005 with family by his side. He was the husband of the late Diane (Arsenault) Richard, and the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Richard) Richard. He served with the Canadian Army during WWII. He had been a long-time employee, as a carpenter, with Saint John Ship Building and Dry Dock. Auguste was a member of the St. Louis de Kent Golden Age Club. He will be sadly missed by daughters Denise Olsen (Doug) of Moncton, Georgette Porter (Brian) of Saint John; son Michel (Anne Marie) of Moncton; six grandchildren: Vanaissa, Matthew, Meagan, Denis, Danielle, Gabrielle; one great granddaughter, Molly Dawn; many nieces and nephews; and one sister, Bernadette Curwin (Kenneth) of Moncton. Predeceased by a granddaughter and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Français R.C. Church, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday, November 3rd, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Parish Cemetery. If so desired, flowers accepted, or donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or memorial of the donor's choice.
