FORTUNE, DORIS CAROLINE - The death of Doris Caroline Fortune, wife of the late George Fortune (2004), after a period of failing health, occurred on Thursday November 3, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is survived by her sons Walter (Sue), Edward and Roger; daughter Diane Barrieau (Bud); one special grandson James Kenneth of Fort MacMurray; brothers Wallace, Austin and Donald; sisters Ruby, Marcella, Winnifred, Leona and Norma; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband George, she was predeceased by her parents William and Althea (Sherwood) Tayes; sister Cora; brothers Wesley, Alfred and Reginald. Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, Saint John (646-2424) on Friday 7:00-8:30 p.m. Followed by the funeral service at 8:30 p.m. in the chapel.
