MacDONALD, LOUIS A. - Unexpectedly on November 12, 2005, Mr. Louis A. MacDonald, husband of Charlene Lyn (Humphrey) MacDonald of Utopia NB. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on November 15, 1946 he was a son of the late Allan Lyle and Stella E. (Holmes) MacDonald. Beloved husband of Charlene, loving father to Amanda (Shawn) Rouse of Rothesay NB, sons Jimmy (Katie) of Pennfield NB and Ryan (Alicia) of Digdeguash NB and devoted grandfather to Zachary and Cameron Rouse of Rothesay and Ryan MacDonald of Pennfield. Also survived by his brothers: Manford (Muriel) MacDonald of Utopia and Dale (Elizabeth) MacDonald of Owen Sound Ont. and only sister Isabel (Clarence) French of St. George NB, Mother and Father-in-law James and Geraldine Humphrey of Lepreau, sisters-in-law; Irene (Doug) Goodrich of Lepreau and Wendy (Peter) Wright of Beaver Harbour NB, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a step mother Mildred (Craig) MacDonald and a brother Hartford. Louis was employed at Connors Brothers Limited as a night shift foreman on the S A P Line and worked for the company for 27 years. He was an avid golfer and crocinole player. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed his grandchildren. Louis leaves a void for his family that can never be filled. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street St. George from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with Reverend Gilles Mullen officiating followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
