PAGET, CLAUDE - Claude Paget of Plaster Rock passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 12, 2005. Born in Everett, NB on September 2, 1923 he was the son of the late Fred and Ada (Clyde) Paget. Claude leaves behind his wife Shirley Paget (Wright); his daughters Melanie (Allison) Knox of Saint John, Jacqueline Harris of Woodstock; his grandson Cst. Daniel William Smith of Calgary; his great-grandson Ayden Arsenault-Smith of Calgary; his stepmother Margaret Paget of Calgary; his sister Helen Taylor of Ottawa; brothers Fred Paget of Whitecourt, AB, John Paget of Calgary, AB. He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter Patricia Paget. Claude was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29. He served overseas with the European Theater 1943-46, the R.C.A. Second Survey Regiment. Claude was a well known lifelong fiddler. He would entertain many people with his band, The Blue Mountain Boys. He was also a member of the Tobique Masonic Lodge. He and his wife were wholesale gas and oil agents on the Tobique for many years. Resting at Tobique Chapel with visitation on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday November 15, 2005 at 11 am from Tobique Chapel. Rev. Lorne Freake officiating. Interment will be in Linton Corner Cemetery. There will be a Masonic Memorial service held at the chapel Monday evening at 7 pm and a Legion Memorial service at 7:30 pm.
