SEDERQUEST, LOUIS W. - The death of Louis W. Sederquest of Sussex, formerly of Upham, husband of the late Elsie Sederquest occurred December 3, 2005 at the Sussex Health Centre. He was born in Clover Hill, son of the late Cassius and Janie (Davidson) Sederquest. He owned and operated a General Store in the 1930's. Louis drove his own lumber truck before working for the City of Saint John as a heavy equipment operator retiring in the 1970's. He enjoyed playing cards and never missed a card party in Upham, Barnesville and Sussex. He is survived by four step-daughters Jean Francis (Norman), Evelyn Finlay (Doug), Shirley Crawford (Larry), all of Saint John, Norma Ratcliffe, Lowell, Massachusetts; seven step-grandchildren Cathy Ramsay, Sandra Francis, Billy Ratcliffe, Peter Finlay, Andrea Kane, John Finlay and Angela Crawford; several step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews including niece Charlotte Walker and a special friend Ann Garland. He was predeceased by three brothers, Wilfred, Russell and William. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 1:00 pm at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Philip Pain officiating. Interment in St. Barnabas Cemetery, Barnesville.
