FREDERICK HUNTER
HUNTER, FREDERICK - At the Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton, Ont. On December 8, 2005, Frederick Hunter, in his 89th year. He was born in Northern Ireland, the son of James and Elizabeth (Clarke) Hunter. He came to Canada with his family in 1930. He entered the Bank of Nova Scotia in Chipman NB, and served in branches in Fredericton and Campbellton NB, Glace Bay and Halifax, NS, Summerside and Kensington PEI, Perth, Ont. and Truro NS where he retired in 1974. He has resided in Brampton since 1997. He served overseas with the RCAF from 1942 to 1945; he was a member of the United Church, Masonic Lodge, Royal Canadian Legion, and the Golden K club. He was predeceased by three brothers and seven sisters. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Orchard) Hunter, one daughter, Janet (Lorne) Gardiner of Brampton, one granddaughter Heather (Dennis) Wyche, and four Great Granddaughters, Ivy, Violet, April, and Melita Wyche of Montreal. He will be sadly missed by his niece Joan (Brian) Hill of St. Andrews NB, and their Daughters Jennifer (Finlay) Bennie and Susan Hill. A Family Memorial service will be held. Cremation has taken place, and interment of ashes to take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
