McLEOD, HAZEL WINNIFRED (WINNIE) - It is with deep sadness we regret to announce the passing of Hazel W. McLeod, wife of Edward H. McLeod on December 9, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Chester and Florence (Bond) McCoach. Hazel was a member of St. Giles United Church. Surviving in addition to her husband Edward are one son E. Dennis (Francine) of Saint John West; two grandchildren Michael McLeod of Saint John, Tracy McLeod (Jerry), and one sister-in-law Ruby Day, and a niece Sandra Carroll (Ken). Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers George and Fred and sister Dorothy. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Chapel Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral Service will be held at "Fallsview Chapel" on Saturday December 10, 2005 at 4 pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Saturday from 1 pm until service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice. The family of Hazel would like to thank the staff of the palliative care unit and staff of the 8th floor of St. Joseph's Hospital.
