HAMM, G. H. (TRUDY) - Trudy passed away after a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday December 14, 2005. Born 1909 in Sherbrooke, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Agnes (Nordine) Anderson. She moved to Saint John, NB after her marriage to Albert Hamm on Nov. 17, 1948. Besides her loving husband of 57 years she is survived by their only daughter Louise Steeves (Stanley) of Saint John, two grandsons David Steeves (Cynthia) of Moncton and Douglas Steeves of Vancouver; one brother Ed Anderson (Winnifred), several nieces and nephews of Sherbrooke, Quebec. A founding member of Calvary Temple where she faithfully and with great devotion taught Sunday school and Children's Church. She also played piano for many years at Full Gospel Assembly and Calvary Temple. After a Business Course she was employed as a secretary for a medical doctor. She was a graduate of the Dominion College of Music, in Montreal, Quebec as a professional teacher. During World War II she taught music at a bible college in Texas. She was awarded an honorary life membership in the ladies auxiliary of the Gideons International in Canada in 1986, having faithfully served in many offices. Trudy was a lovely Christian lady and had a deep love for her Lord Jesus Christ and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday December 17, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery on Sand Cove Road.
