DUGUAY, AURELE J. - It is with great sadness that the family of Aurele Duguay, announces his passing on December 18, 2005 at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, after a brave two year struggle from a lengthy illness, with his caring family at his side. Born December 27, 1929 in Bois Gagnon, NB he was the son of the late Thomas and Helen (Godin) Duguay. Survived by his life soul mate, and devoted wife Rosalie (Bell) of 42 years; five children Lisa Duguay, of Saint John, Sherry Kincade (John) of St. George, Linda Kiervin-Duguay (Bill McDonald) of Saint John, David Duguay (Gillian) of Blacks Harbour and Daryl Duguay (Ilsa) of Saint John; 11 grandchildren: Matthew, Robert, Ashley, Blake, Ryan, Emily Rose, Damion, Christopher, Katie Lynn, Shantel and Tyler; brother Donat Duguay (Geraldine); sister Therese Hache (Octave) of Montreal, Quebec; three half sisters Rose Marie Roussel, Anglina Thibodeau, and Anne Marie Roussel all of Tracadie, NB; many cousins, nieces and nephews in NB and across Canada. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Leonard, Job, Alexandre and sisters Delima and Anida. Aurele was a welder by trade, a member of Local 213. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and what he enjoyed most was visits with his children and grandchildren. He was known as a hard worker with a quiet strength. He will be sadly missed by his countless friends and all who knew him for his Great Spirit and joy of living life to the fullest with spiritual devotion. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday December 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Please No Flowers Due to Allergies.
