GYNANE, EMILY MAY - The death of E. May Gynane, age 90, wife of the late Robert Gynane, of St. Stephen, NB, formerly of Norton, occurred at St. Stephen, December 20, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Roberts. May is survived by her daughters; Florence Richardson, Ayers, MA, and LaVerne Dockrill, AB, five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, brothers; Donald and Christel Roberts, Norton, Eldon and Vera Roberts, England, sisters; Mary MacDonald, London, ON, Edith and Walter Helperd, Saint John, and Mildred Rigby, BC, and Flora Brade, Dartmouth, NS and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; Charlie, Frank, Fred, Edmund, Ernest and Harold, and sisters; Bessie Howe and Hilda McCormick. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton. Visiting will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service will be from Sherwood's Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2005. Interment will be in Kiersteadville Cemetery in the spring.
