CHAPMAN, K. JANE - The death of K. Jane Chapman of Passekeag, wife of David Chapman occurred December 26, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Saint John, daughter of the late Vernor and Alice (Finley) Watters. Jane operated Vorkap Kennels for ten years and was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club. She participated in Equestrian in her earlier years. She was involved in Lancaster Minor Hockey in the 1970's. Jane operated Chapman's Variety, Loch Lomond Road, from 1980 - 1987 and the canteen at the Hampton Community Centre from 1998 - 2002. She was currently co-owner of Southwest Express Courier. Surviving besides her husband David are four sons Jeffrey Chapman, Rainbow Lake, AB, Kevin Chapman, Halifax, NS, Michael Chapman, Bridgewater, NS, Robert Chapman, Saint John; two brothers David Watters (Marilyn), Mississauga, ON, Murray Watters (Jane), Perth Andover; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 11:00 am at Reid's Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Burdett officiating. Cremation will follow.
