MAZEROLLE, DAVID F. - David Francis Mazerolle, 66, husband of Bernadette (Lebel) Mazerolle of Grand Falls passed away December 31, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in 1939, he was a son of the late Frank and Mabel (Rasmussen) Mazerolle. For many years, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21, holding several positions on the Executive. He was a member of the Canadian militia from 1955 until 1994. He was also a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by three stepchildren, Guy Rioux (Mariette Berube) and Roseline Rioux-Desrosiers of Grand Falls and Roger Rioux of Longueuil, Quebec, four step grandchildren, Sebastien, Melissa, Angie and Luc as well as sister, Arlene (Bernard St. Peters) of Florida, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Christine, Ruth and Joyce and brothers, Frederick and George. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. His funeral will be Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006, at 4 p.m. from the Assumption Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the parish cemetery.
