GANONG, STANLEY BERTRAM - The death of Stanley B. Ganong of Orchard View Nursing Home in Gagetown, NB, husband of the late Elizabeth (Stewart) Ganong, occurred on January 3, 2006, at his residence. Born in Elgin, NB, he was the son of the late Frank LeRoy and Lena (Steeves) Ganong. Stanley lived in Elmhurst most of his life, where he farmed and worked on local ferrys. He was an avid coin and stamp collector and was also a member of the Liberal Association. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Stanley was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2006 from Reid's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am, with The Rev. Bonita LeBlanc officiating. Interment will take place in Trinity Cemetery, Kingston, at a later date. Memorials made to a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
