FLOWERS, LORNA D. - The death of Lorna Doreen Flowers of Don Mills (Toronto), Ontario and formerly of Saint John, occurred on January 06, 2006 at Thompson House, Home for the Aged, A Don Mills Foundation For Senior Citizens. Born on December 19, 1928, she was the daughter of Alan and Edna Mason. Lorna lived most of her life in Ontario taking early retirement from Imperial Oil in 1987 where she worked for 26 years. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Brian) Harley and Sharon Memory, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers Gene (Hilda), Jack, Gary (Kevin); sisters June (late Dick) Thorne, Muriel (Leslie) Short, Abbie (Ron) Brown, Dianne (late Jim) Summerville; sister-in-law Myrna Mason; several nieces and nephews. Lorna was predeceased by her parents and brother Joseph Mason. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, a Cremation Service, in Toronto, Ontario. Private family memorial service will take place. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
