BAXTER, DIANNE ELIZABETH - Unexpectedly in Barrie, Ontario the death occurred of Dianne, cherished daughter of Muriel Flood and beloved sister of David Baxter and her twin Dr. Richard Baxter. Predeceased by her father C. William Baxter, her loved grandparents Richard and Elvira Price, her uncle George Price, and stepfather Dr. Harry Flood. She also leaves behind her aunts, Mary and her husband Ross Ellis, Ruth and her husband John Tedford, and Irene Price (late husband George), uncle Earle Price and his partner Stella Walsh, nephew Stephen Doucette as well as many cousins and extended family. Dianne was born in Edmundston, N.B. on August 30,1967. After attending Saint John High School, Dianne graduated from U.N.B. Fredericton with a B.A. and from the University of Toronto with a Masters degree in Social Work. She worked in the field of child protection throughout her career where her passion and devotion to the children was well known. Dianne will be greatly missed by her family, friends and co-workers. A memorial will be held in Barrie on Thursday, January 12 at 3 p.m. Anyone wishing to remember Dianne may do so by donating to a Children's Aid Society of their choice or to the Simcoe County Children's Aid Society.
