McALLISTER, MABEL E. - The death of Mabel E. McAllister of Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John, formerly of Salt Springs, widow of Lawson McAllister occurred January 10, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Smithtown, daughter of the late Millidge and Annie (Baird) Dunlop. Mabel was a member of Salina Kirk United Church and U.C.W. She is survived by three daughters Vivian Chiasson (Arthur), Saint John, Myrtle MacKenney (George), Quispamsis, Heather Judge (Stephen), Saint John; one brother Hazen Dunlop (Dorothy), Smithtown; four grandchildren Stephanie, Marc, Graham and Colin; three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 11:00 am at Salina Kirk United Church, Salt Springs, with Rev. Mary Wanamaker officiating. Interment in Titus Hill Cemetery. Memorials to Titus Hill Cemetery or Rocmaura Nursing Home would be appreciated. Visiting 2-4pm & 7-9pm Thursday.
