Sackville, N.B. - The death of C. Lincoln Fillmore, age 77, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2008. Born in Sackville, N.B., he was a son of the late Frank and Lona (Crossman) Fillmore. Lincoln was a lifelong hobby farmer, showing shorthorn cattle for many years. He worked for Moloney Electric. He enjoyed his family, and his cottage, which was his second home. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Mary Fillmore; daughter Carol (Chuck) Smith, Sackville; a granddaughter Cari-Ann Melanson (Randy Stanley), Sackville; two brothers, Arnold (Lee), Fredericton, Bill (June), Sackville; four sisters, Faye (Raymond) Tremblay, Moncton, Frances Beal (Leo Poirier), Sackville, Jennie (Kenneth) Wheaton, Sackville, Alice Fraser, Lewisville. He was predeceased by a brother Ken and a sister Ruby Murray. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 2 p.m., Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating.
