NUGENT, PATRICK JEROME - 83 - Monday, January 23, 2006. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden peaceful passing at the QEII Hospital Halifax of Pat Nugent, our husband, father, and grandfather. Leaving to mourn his best friend and loving wife of 55 years, Hilda Heaney; his loving daughters Marsha, (Mike) Erdeg and Rochelle (Dana O'Connor) Moncton; his adoring granddaughters Tonya and Stephanie Erdeg and Melissa and Julie O'Connor; sister Martha Evererd, St. John's Nfld; sister-in-law Angela Nugent and Margaret Heaney; and many nieces and nephews. Nine brothers and sisters and his parents Thomas and Martha Nugent predeceased him. Pat was a veteran of the Second World War, a member of the fourth degree Knights of Columbus and a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Calais Sackville Branch #162. He was employed by Imperial Oil in Gander and Corner Brook, Nfld for thirty three years. A native of St. John's Nfld, Pat resided in Sackville, Nova Scotia for seventeen years. Visitation will be 2-4; 7-9 on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 2:30 PM, at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church.
