DAKIN, EVERETT CLYDE - Everett Clyde Dakin, 67, passed away unexpectedly Friday January 27, 2006. He was the son of the late William and Frances (Brown) Dakin. Everett was well known and liked by many on Grand Manan Island as a hard working business man, and spent many years operating his family business E. C. Dakin & Son Ltd., with his son Wade, grandson Greg, wife Rosemarie, and good crew of men at his side. He is survived by his wife Rosemarie (Green), two daughters Corinne (James) Guptill of St. George, NB, Karen Worthen of Black's Harbour, NB, one son Wade (Tina) of Grand Harbour, NB, six Grand Children and four Great Grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by one brother Ray. Visiting will take place at Ells Funeral Home Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Central Wesleyan Church Tuesday January 31st, 2006 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Kirk Perry officiating, interment to follow at the Spruce Grove Cemetery.
