DEWAR, LYDIA ALTHEA - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on February 6, 2006 Mrs. Lydia A. (Thomas) Dewar, wife of the late Edward V. Dewar of the Fundy Nursing Home in Blacks Harbour and formerly of St. George NB. Born on Grand Manan, NB on October 12, 1915 she was a daughter of the late Howard and Eunice (Gilmore) Thomas. A loving mother she is survived by her only daughter Sandra (Tom) Tzouchas of Nova Scotia, one brother; Sherwin(Marjorie) Thomas of Grand Manan, NB as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. As per her wishes, there will be no visiting or public funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. No flowers by request, but in her memory donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
