BEST, MURIEL - The death of Muriel E. Best of 166 McNamara Drive, loving widow of William R. Best, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. Mrs. Best was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late George and Rose Marie (Cyr) Richard. She was an avid bingo player and crafts person. She is survived by two sons, George R. (Brenda Lee) of Saint John, and Christopher of Fredericton; four daughters, Patty Foss (Joseph) of Saint John, Debra Schooley (Larry) of Stratford, Ont., Cynthia Beck (Jim) of Public Landing, and Laurie Osmon (Michael) of Baxter's Corner; one brother, Donald Richard of Saint John; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
